The Police Department’s Mission Statement
It is the mission of the Gaston Police Department to serve all people with respect, fairness, and compassion. Our commitment is to improve the quality of life of all the citizens in the town of Gaston. We aim to reduce the fear of crime and being victimized by prosecuting the people who victimize others.
Our mission can be accomplished by combining effective and professional policing strategies in the community with uncompromising criminal enforcement of local and state laws.
